The inaugural GroceryTech event, produced by Progressive Grocer and RIS News, brings together the combined community of business and technology grocery executives on the journey to modernize their technology infrastructure to support innovation — to help grocers replicate the “small neighborhood grocery store on the corner” concept, while still operating profitably at scale.
The event’s theme, "Scaling with Personalization," focuses on how grocery executives — including leadership and business implementation executives across IT, supply chain, marketing, and store operations — can build a technology infrastructure to profitably serve shoppers now and into the future.

Progressive Grocer will hold its 2nd annual Grocery Industry Week Nov. 7-9 in Orlando, Fla. The event will showcase how the industry’s best and brightest minds are tackling the most timely topics of today and tomorrow.
The upcoming Grocery Industry Week will also include the following special events: the Top Women in Grocery (TWIG) Leadership Development Program and formal dinner gala and awards reception; GenNext Awards and Symposium; Retailer of the Year; and the Grocery Leaders Executive Forum. Top Women in Grocery
The annual Top Women in Grocery (TWIG) program is Progressive Grocer's prominent award competition and event where we recognize female leadership from the retail, supplier and service provider community. Candidates are nominated by colleagues and peers for one of three categories: Senior-Level Executives, Rising Stars and Store Managers.
But TWIG is much more than a prestigious award. The awards gala is preceded by a Leadership Development Program (LDP) during which high value content is shared to help our TWIG community advance their careers and discover new ways to impact their organizations.

GenNext Awards & Symposium
Progressive Grocer's annual GenNext Awards recognizes innovators, disruptors or difference-makers having an impact on their organization, the industry and colleagues. They are young professionals who possesses that “it” factor that is hard to describe but sets them apart as a next generation industry leader.
And it's during the GenNext Symposium where we bring together these most promising emerging talent to address crucial issues shaping the future of the grocery industry. This forum gives the most complete perspective of what's next for grocery.

Retailer of the Year
The Retailer of the Year honor goes to an outstanding chain retailer that is the benchmark by which the industry’s most successful and innovative food retailers are measured.
Grocery Leaders Executive Forum
The high-level executive forum brings the grocery retail industry together for thought leadership focused on the major issues that are driving change in this essential industry. Participants will include c-level grocery leaders, leading-industry stakeholders, emerging innovators and solution providers.
IMPACT AWARDS
This first-of-its-kind initiative showcases the positive impact retailers, suppliers and solution providers are having with environmental, social and governance efforts. Progressive Grocer's aim is to amplify the accomplishments of retail industry leaders, highlight innovative approaches and inspire the industry to further to greatness by “honoring exceptionalism" across 9 categories.
Impact Awards is open to retailers, suppliers and solution provider companies in the food and consumables industry.
